Looking at that haircut this must have been either just before I went into the Army or just after I had joined.

Not long after this I had a head on collision with a VW camper van. Bike was a write off and I broke both arms in over a dozen places. I was knocked out instantly and remember nothing at all.

My death was announced in the local paper....luckily this was not correct !
